Join CAFHA and several of its members in its Housing Choice Voucher working group meeting. The goals and purpose of this group are to come together with our unique and varied skill sets as voucher holders, advocates, enforcement agencies, and public housing authorities to identify barriers to housing choice and determine ways we can work together to create stable housing opportunities. We seek to specifically identify enforcement gaps, education and outreach needs, administrative barriers within the voucher program, and accessibility concerns.
We have had a great turnout at our meetings and are taking productive steps to reach our mutual goals. We ask that those who have attended please join us for our next meeting. This group will be an ongoing effort and those interested are encouraged to participate in this important collaboration.
